<\/p>\nIn a decisive move toward smarter and more energy-efficient infrastructure, Pattaya City has announced an ambitious plan to replace 4,000 outdated streetlights with modern LED fixtures. The project, spearheaded by Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai, aims to enhance nighttime safety, lower energy consumption, and modernize the city\u2019s urban landscape.<\/p>\n
Currently, most of Pattaya\u2019s streetlights rely on aging 250-watt High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamps, which cast a dim orange glow and have deteriorated after years of use. These conditions have raised concerns about road visibility and community safety, especially at night.<\/p>\n

To address these challenges, city officials are rolling out a citywide initiative to install 110-watt LED streetlights\u2014technology known for its brighter, clearer light and significantly reduced energy use. The upgrade will not only illuminate the streets more effectively but also support the city\u2019s long-term sustainability goals.<\/p>\n
The LED installation will be carried out in four phases<\/strong>, starting from the city center and gradually expanding outward toward the city limits.
